Deposit & Cancellation Policy

Deposits

  • A $100 deposit is required to secure your booking.

  • The deposit is non-refundable and will be deducted from your total event quote.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Need to change your date? We’ll transfer your payment to a new date at no extra cost, subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible to secure your preferred date.

  • If you cancel, the $100 deposit is forfeited.

  • Any additional refund requests (beyond the non-refundable deposit) will be assessed based on notice given and costs already incurred in preparing your booking. Cancellations must be made in writing.

 

Payments

  • All accounts must be settled in full 14 days prior to setup.

  • Quotes can be paid by PayPal or bank transfer.

Delivery, Pickup & Bonds

  • We service the Illawarra region with no delivery fee.

  • Out of area bookings may be accepted at our discretion and will incur a surcharge based on distance.

  • Smaller props, letters, and numbers can be collected from our warehouse with a $100 refundable bond (returned after items are received back without damage).

  • Larger packages and setups must be delivered and installed by our team.

  • Late night pack up may incur an extra surcharge.

 

Styling & Inclusions

  • Complimentary styling is provided for all bookings.

  • Additional services (e.g., balloon installs outside listed packages) will be quoted separately.

  • We do not supply fresh flowers; you’re welcome to provide your own or we can connect you with our florist partners.

 

Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure the event space is ready and accessible at the agreed delivery/setup time.

  • Communicate changes to booking details, delivery location, or timing in advance.

 

Damages & Loss

  • Clients are responsible for the care of all hired items.

  • Damage, loss, or excessive cleaning will be charged accordingly and may be deducted from the bond where applicable.

 

Liability

  • Let Us Shine For You is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from misuse of hired items or circumstances beyond our control (including weather, venue restrictions, or transport delays).

 

Updates to Terms

  • We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will be posted on our website.
